Just tested on your site and look like it works for me. If you notice when you press the Remind me button after the loader, the Bell icon will change into Check icon. That mean it's sent. The Check icon will last only for few seconds before go back to Bell.
Maybe I have a wrong understanding what this function is about... but I thought that this suppose to send an email reminder to a person about an event of interest. When I set the reminder I don't get reminder in any form, of email or notification. This is what I meant by saying that Reminder is not working.
This is strange, I don't get them at all (emails) and I don't even know when to change the settings for email so not sure where the string like this is coming from... Any solution?

Have you changed the e-mail content? Also check your SPAM folder just in case.
