I'm trying to create a recurring event and use the Schedule time spans as well. Start and End date is 7/23/2018, 6:30 - 8:45. I set a daily repeater until 7/28/2018.
When I go to schedule a time span, the jQuery UI date picker only lets me select 7/23/2018. It doesn't account for the repeater settings.
The repeater currently will repeat the same event data over and over. That's why if the event is only one day there will be one date in the schedule.
Do you need to have different schedule each repeated event? If so, currently can't happen, but will write it down and see if can happen in future update. Meanwhile what you can do is to duplicate the event and change only the schedule for each one.
See the attached images as well. It would be nice if the datepicker's min date and max date limits took into account the repeater's configuration. As it is, it only looks at the "starts on" and "ends on" fields to get its limits. If it included understood that the event actually goes to 7/27/2018 because of the repeater's config, then all would work well.
Sorry I just checked the code again and this is not a bug.
The min/max date limit in the schedule is working as intended. If you have reccurent event the dates in the schedule will be recalculated automatically for this recurrence.
If you need the content in the schedule to be different then I'd suggest you to duplicate the event and edit it.
I understand that and saw that. The issue here is that the datepicker max/min logic in the schedule section doesn't account for recurring events. If I made an event that was not recurring, but went from 7/23 - 7/27, the datepicker would allow me to select any date between 7/23 and 7/27.
I understand that the recurrence's schedule will show the date of that recurrence, and that is fine if the schedule was for a span of time rather than days. But in my case it doesn't help. :) It would be nice if there was an option for the datepicker. Something like, change date based on recurrence (As it is currently), or be able to select a specific date (And the date picker would include the dates based on the recurrence logic).
I guess I'll have create individual events if I want the schedule to reflect the correct date.

Good morning Jacob,
The repeater currently will repeat the same event data over and over. That's why if the event is only one day there will be one date in the schedule.

Hey Valentin,
Check the Schedule section of the Vacation Bible School events for an example: https://www.manassaschurchofgod.org/events/
Does that make more sense?

Hi Zhivko,
I understand that and saw that. The issue here is that the datepicker max/min logic in the schedule section doesn't account for recurring events. If I made an event that was not recurring, but went from 7/23 - 7/27, the datepicker would allow me to select any date between 7/23 and 7/27.

Thank you for looking into this!
