Under the "General" tab, the "Event Icons" dropdown needs to be sorted. It is very difficult to find the icons I'm looking for because they aren't sorted. jQuery Chosen would also really help so that we could search through the icons. But what would be even better is a graphical interface to pick the icons.
Also, not sure what versionb of Font Awesome you are using, but they just released Font Awesome 5. Would be nice to see that implemented.
The plugin is always using the latest version of Font-Awesome and this sometimes cause problems with themes that are not been updated and using the older version, but nothing that can not be fixed with few lines of code
The interface you are suggesting is actually on our to-do list, as well with the option to add custom icon from Font Awesome if the user has a premium plan and access to more icon.
Unfortunately right now I can't give you ETA on the update. We just released one yesterday and will start working on the update adding Event Organizer feature this week. So my guess is probably in a month time.
