Hi! I just did the update for the Event Calendar and now all the events have the code "stec_replace_tags" beneath the title. How can I fix this?
Also, the setting seem to indicate that you can add events from the front end. I don't seem to be able to do this. Can you tell me how to add events from the front end?
1) To see the "stec_replace_tags" text you need to one the event. I am attaching a screenshot.
2) I do have front-end user enabled in the calendar for admin only. I can see text:
Create an event
Click to submit your own event
But when I click and fill out the form and press "submit event" nothing happens. At first I had selected "Require approval by admin for events added from font-end" (btw, I think you mean "front end") but I could not see where to approve it. So I deselected that option. Even so, nothing happens when I submit an event from the front end while logged in as admin.
I will give you the admin via private message. Meanwhile, did you notice the "stec_replace_tags" problem? I probably should have separated these into two separate posts--sorry!
Try to refresh the browser ctrl + f5 it may be browser cache after the update. We added category tags with the latest update and probably the browser cache is messing up.
I'm sorry for the delay in my response-- my work life intervened. I did some checking yesterday and discovered that the error message is not present on Firefox or Chrome browsers, only Safari. Today, I cannot get the calendar to load *at all* on Safari. Is there an issue with the new version and Safari?
Also, you mentioned: "Also here i saw that something is breaking the plugin layout. I can help you with that but will need FTP access to manipulate the file." I can give you FTP access, I think but I'm wondering what the problem you are seeing is, and how it will be manipulated, and how that might affect the rest of the site and future updates. Thanks!
Attaching a screenshot of the calendar not loading--this is after many tries, restarting Safari, restarting computer. Firefox & Chrome load easily. Mobile works great, too.
Unfortunately Apple no long support Safari for Windows and the browser is now heavily outdated and without access to Mac we can not debug the issue and will try work with browser emulator.
About the broken layout, look like it's a css conflict right here: As you can see the buttons are our of place. Actually I may try to fix this from the wp admin and see how it goes. This will not affect future updates.

Now about the Safari issue. Got my hands on iPad with Safari browser up to date and the calendar is loading just fine just like it do on the Emulator. Also the code you see I don't and I'm pretty sure it's browser cache after the latest update where we actually introduced Category Tags.

As for Safari, you're right: this morning all looks completely normal after a couple days of that tag code showing up, and it's loading fine now. Thanks again for being so responsive and for writing this great plugin. I searched a long time for an event plugin that looked great and also had an agenda view.

Where I can see this code? On your website I see this:
About event submission from the front end you can watch this video.
You can edit the settings of your calendar instead of creating new one of course this was only for the video.

Usually when you submit event from the front end you will see this in your admin calendars list:
And when you open the events in this calendar the new ones will have new button "Approve" and "Review". I guess will make a quick video later.
If still not working for you is it possible to give me temporary wp-admin access to see what is going on there?
