After activation. Social icons in the top bar are not displaying. When i deactivate they display fine. 

Problem is bordered in red in attached screenshot.

Hello. Thanks for reply. I have asked for advice from theme developer and this is what he wrote:

"Thank you for your patience. Yes, Font Awesome 5 is VERY different from the version included in the theme, if I switch to version 5 a lot of customers are going to have issues due to the differences in the class naming but also because many icons were removed or re-designed. So at this point I can’t update the icon version in the theme for everyone.

Also a lot of plugins like the WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution use the older FontAwesome version still.

So it’s possible there is some sort of conflict but it should be easy to fix those icons with a little custom CSS. The plugin developer should have given you the code for that. If they didn’t and you want to send me the URL in question so I can inspect it and see what’s missing I can provide it for you.

But more importantly, if the plugin is only loading a few icons – loading the whole FontAwesome 5 script (which is massive) doesn’t make much sense – you could remove it completely via a child theme and replace the icons with svg’s or the already included font awesome script to save loading time.

I think i am only having problem in top bar social icons, and only in pages the calendar is showing. 

I think he suggests not to install Font Awesome 5 in theme yet.

Maybe the easiest fix would be to css the correct icons on those pages in that position. But i don't have the programming skills for that. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Valentin,

Just noticed that the code is giving slight bugs. 

1- The contact form on my home page has the rotating icon spinning all the time.  (screenshot attached) http://www.soussdesign.com/demoprconvention/. I am using Contact Form 7.

2- Also when i send the event as a reminder or share the link the person lands in this page: http://www.soussdesign.com/demoprconvention/stec_event/international-convention-aesthetics-sap-massage-puerto-rico-201/   The icons are not displaying on those pages either.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

When i receive reminder in email there is a long line of code that displays. 

Is this the normal behavior? (screenshot attached)

Is there some way to display something else or maybe hide that code?
