1 List view: is there a way of showing a list of events per event-title not per event-day. if someone asks what courses do you run here is there a list:

2 Grid view: where are the instructions to do the calendar Grid View, with column number set to 3 per row and top navigation hidden? I could not find in documentation.

You can create different Calendars for each topic. For example, create a Calendar named Archery and add the events. Now to display list of events only from this calendar you will need to go to the Calendar list and see what is the ID of the Archery Calendar. For example:
Here the Calendar "Coming Soon Events" has ID of 181. Now when you know the ID number your list shortcode will look like this:
Just change the number of the calendars for each list.
About the Grid Settings.
Go to your Dashboard -> St. Event Calendar -> Fonts & Colors -> Grid Layout and on the bottom you will see this: Change the number of the columns and the save the settings. You can also watch this video:

What would be nice to know is if we can show the categories in A-Z list order based on category title on a webpage. Can this be done in shortcode? (Yep we got how to show events in a calendar based on category #id - no problem with that one.)
