I just wondered if you all have any plans to integrate the back end admin portion with the WordPress UI? Similar to how the Events Calendar does.
The reason I ask is because in the current admin UI, I cannot assign ownership of a calendar event. I can't sort by last modified either. The ability to use the WordPress structure of drafting/submitting for review/publishing would be beneficial as well. In a teaming environment, this makes things difficult. Plus folks have to become familiar with a new look and feel.
I just was curious to see if there were any plans to do this.
I must agree the admin is bit outdated and yes we have plans for the future, but it's not something that is on our priority list right now. We have few more major updates to do before can "rest" and redo the whole admin.
Also doing that may do more harm than good because of the users and their clients are already used to it and such change may be a big problem. For example we wanted to redesign our front-end as well, but we can't do that because after discussing this with Envato staff look like its not really possible to do such big changes because the item was already approved with the way it is right now.
Unfortunately this is the tricky situation with big changes on Envato Market :/
