I did do a bit more digging and found the problem, the plugin "WP SVG Icons Pro" ( http://www.evan-herman.com/wp-svg-icons-pro/ ) when activated will cause the problem. Not sure if you are able to install it yourself and check what could cause that or not, but any help is appreciated.

I tried that in Chrome as well as in Safari, makes no difference, any other suggestions ?
If you are using any cache plugins clear them as well.

Sorry for late reply, thanks I will try it at a later time, as for now I changed the page and removed the offending plugin .
