Normally plugins with updates show in WP-Admin when there's a new version. Latest version 2.5 is not showing in WP-Admin installed plug-ins neither does it show in plug-in Updates menu. Checking for updates seems to timeout. See error log

Managed to upgrade ok to new version. All events there, fonts had reset back to default even after I had exported all settings and imported them. all the weather and maps api info is there which was a relief.
