I just installed this plugin yesterday. I was looking to test the ticketing/booking features but I viewed the video on creating tickets and I do not have the "tickets" menu item at all.
Am I missing some sort of config item to turn it on?
You are absolutely right, the docs are but outdated and currently working on new website hopefully will be online soon. Meanwhile if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
I installed WooCommerce and now see the needed menu items. You can close this ticket. I marked it as public so others can search for the resolution until the docs are updated.

The ticket and payment method is handled by WooCommerce plugin. So to enable the ticket menu you will need to install it first.
