What's missing are any really good ways to display a single event via shortcode. For example, a banner at the top of my homepage to promote either the next event, or the next featured event, with a nice countdown time.
Basically, all I can do now is a display a single agenda item, and use CSS to display:hide the "Look for more" button (attached image).
There's a "Coming Soon Page", but what's needed is a "Coming Soon" display shortcode to promote either the next event, or the next featured event.
Not sure when I'd want to send someone to a coming soon page vs. the actual website. But short of using that coming soon page within an iframe on a different event landing page, not sure the use case.
