as i see the counter (timer?) now shows completely wrong time until an event starts.
example: today ist 08.01.2020 and event starts on 18.01.2020 (should be 10 Days roundabout) but calendar says 387 Days. Other event start same week on19.01.2020 but countdown timer says 115 Days.
I've cleared cache and checked date of WP Installation, but actual date is correct.
1. In General settings -> Misc tab turn off Preprocess RRule option.
2. Some of your events are starting to repeat from 2017 (eg 2017-01-07 06:00:00) . Edit them and move the year to 2019 or 2020 (2019-01-07 06:00:00) so the Preprocess RRule is in range of the initial repeat.

There are two ways to fix this at the moment:
1. In General settings -> Misc tab turn off Preprocess RRule option.
2. Some of your events are starting to repeat from 2017 (eg 2017-01-07 06:00:00) . Edit them and move the year to 2019 or 2020 (2019-01-07 06:00:00) so the Preprocess RRule is in range of the initial repeat.
