Hi, First thing, the plugin is great and easy to use!
One suggestion: I've noticed the timezones for America is broken down by city. I cannot find Washington DC in the list...and I have to put New York, which will confuse visitors as the timezone displayed in the event title...Is it possible to have generalised timezone like below so that it's simpler? Even without the US or America in front is fine as well.
US UTC/GMT -10 US UTC/GMT -8 US UTC/GMT - 7 US UTC/GMT - 6 US UTC/GMT -5 US UTC/GMT -4
Also, does the calendar timezone take into consideration daylight savings when it kicks in?

Hi,
The timezones are pulled from the PHP server. The plugin is displaying what's supported by PHP itself. You can check in the PHP manual here.
On the front-end only the GMT/UTC Offset is displayed without the name (America/New_York).
There's option to hide the offset from General settings -> Display Date 'GMT/UTC'.
DST is taken into consideration.
