With COVID19 affecting so many worldwide, I am probably not the first person to request this.
Currently the version 2.4.8 location feature does not accommodate virtual events hosted in real time via Zoom, etc.
For virtual events the location is actually the user's physical location and since we cannot enter different addresses for every user, the location feature page looks bad to the users (gray box) or displays a WRONG LOCATION if we enter our Headquarters address.
Please consider adding a Location page option to indicate the event is virtual.
Such an option might:
A) disable the location search or replace it with a default static image
B) ask the user for their location and use that to display the location. If they decline the browser request to share their location then a default image needs to display.
This would be a very helpful feature for everyone who is faced with listing Zoom/Microsoft Teams, etc events that people need to know about since they occur in real-time like a regular event.
We are also employing a paywall feature for Zoom events on another site so people can buy tickets for them, but that solution does not have the nice calendar style display that your plugin provides.
I hope you will consider adding a virtual event feature to your plugin in the next update.
I imagine that every one of your users would love it and use it given the Covid19 circumstances.
