if I want to add a new adress for my event in the front-end event submission form and then clicking on "Submit Event" there is an error message popping up "Invalid location country". (see attached image).
The coordinates are recognized without problems when you type something in the address bar (see attached image).Google Maps API-Key is active and the maps are showing properly. So what am I doing wrong?
Have you selected country and city from the selectors above?
Additonally you can go to Dashboard -> STEC -> General -> Event Submission Settings tab and in location settings selector select "Allow new & existing locations". This will allow users to create new locations.
