Our calendar is one where we rely heavily upon having volunteers (attendees) RSVP for our events so when we edit the event in frontend we notice the Attendees are not listed in that section even though we have added them and see them on frontend. It leaves a blank box with no email address in it and a 1 for the People column.
Also when one submits the event after making an edit, if you don't re-add the Attendees' emails it will delete ALL the attendees. So frustrating and important to get this fixed if we are to use this plugin.
Also is there a way to list Attendees by name vs. the first part of their email address?
Everything else is working well but this one thing that we really rely upon, so I am hoping you can fix. Thanks!
I also tested when the Attendees were added to the backend and then edited through the frontend and they get deleted still. But IF I ONLY edit in backend the Attendees remain there and don't get deleted. It is only through the frontend edit mode that they get deleted. Hoping that gives you more insight into this.
I figured out how to prevent attendees from being deleted when editing an event on frontend - just simply delete the Attendees block within submission form (and only add attendees on backend). However, I do think this is something you should look into as a serious glitch. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Thanks!
When I enabled a custom Events page now the RSVPs no longer show on frontend at all. Don't know what is going on with the RSVP functionality but it is just not working for me and so I will have to request a refund and move on to another more stable plugin. Sorry!
