Also, the calendar now takes very long to load the events, which didn't happen before the update. I was wondering if there's an update coming that will fix this issue too?
I just noticed the layout on the calendar agenda is also weird. See attachment. There is a lot of spacing between the title and event details. I don't know how to change that. Help?

Try following:
Go to Dashboard -> STEC -> Fonts & Colors -> Custom style tab and add this css:
body .stec p { margin-bottom: 0; }
You may have to clear the page cache if you're using cache plugin.
